Jeff Dee
Executive Director

jdee@loudounhabitat.org

An Eagle Scout, Educator and leader of several mission trips, Jeff Dee brings a wealth of experience to Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. A graduate of St. Anselm College in Manchester N.H., Jeff taught for nine years at Catholic high schools in Maine and Maryland where he was heavily involved with student service opportunities, social justice education, and outreach. During his time in Maine, he started a Mission trip to Mississippi that served the men and women of Mound Bayou, MS, in collaboration with the Christian Brothers and Sisters of Mercy. Over twelve years later, that program is still touching the lives of youth in Maine and Mississippi. Later, as a teacher in Maryland, he led student service trips to Kentucky and inner city Philadelphia as well as weekly outreach efforts to homeless men and women in D.C. Jeff also spent sixteen summers working at scout camps in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, rising to the position of Camp Director from 2000 to 2005. During this time, the camp saw a growth in programs, scouts served, monies raised, and facilities built, all in an effort to impact the lives of the scouts who came to the camp. Jeff’s passion for the mission of Habitat for Humanity stems from his desire to live out the Gospel admonition that “…whatever you do unto the least of my brethren, you do unto Me.”
