 Barn Dance and Auction 2011
The morning rain was brief and the sun was out at the beginning of this year's barn dance and auction resulting in a crisp cool night under the stars. It was just cool enough to really appreciate sitting around the bonfire between spirited bidding on the lineup of great auction items, eating a wonderfully prepared dinner by Harold Sensabaugh, The Chicken Man, and John Gavin and the Loudoun Golf and Country Club and dancing to the music of 22 Late. It was a great event due in large part to our sponsors and the generosity of local businesses and talented Habitat friends who donated everything from a monstrous Jenn-Air Grill, to a John Deere riding mower, week-long trips to the beach, handcrafted jewelry, tables, stools, cutting boards, mirrors, pottery, great services such photography sessions, landscape design, spa sessions and cooking lessons, golf, and other fun stuff and of course a classic bird house from Habitat's own Dick Davis.
