At Loudoun Habitat for Humanity we view Faith Relations as building relationships.  We welcome the participation of people of all faiths, and no faith, as we strive to fund and build homes in Loudoun County for families in need.

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian housing ministry that relies greatly on the support of the faith community. Churches and religious communities have long been the backbone of Habitat for Humanity, traditionally serving as the most long-term and reliable partners. At the same time, many religious communities have discovered that their involvement with Habitat has blessed them in many ways. While Habitat is a decidedly Christian ministry, we welcome and are grateful for the support of people of all faiths, and of no faith, who will join us in our efforts to eliminate poverty housing.

Loudoun Habitat Faith Relations Committee responsibilities include: 
    Recruit and nuture the support of faith communities
    Act as liason to all Loudoun County church and religious organizations
    Build a prayer network
    Maintain a focus on living out the gospel of Jesus Christ
    Educate the community about the need for simple, decent and affordable housing
    Strengthen the work of Loudoun Habitat by forging sustainable releationships with Loudoun's faith communities
    Secure successful, long-term and consistent funding partners
    Supply "fired-up" volunteers for Board and committee positions
