Home Dedication Banneker

We had a fantastic dedication of home #3 last Saturday with about 70 some odd folks in attendance. Our partner family, the Mosleh's, were great and grateful for their fantastic new "green built" home, not many dry eyes at the event.

Thanks to Jeff Babka, Imam Mohamed Magid and Rev. Rich Hurst for participating in this great event. We got the occupancy permit on Friday and closed the same day, so the home was officially the Mosleh's on Saturday. By the way, they are already living in their new home. Rich Feickert did fantastic work the last two weeks before the dedication getting all the final inspections/permits. Also as he is prone to remind me, the house beat the others in the blower door and duct blaster tests for greenness, and got a glowing write-up from our Earth Craft inspector. I put it down to our learning curve, Rich thinks it was his leadership, whatever - we're doing something right.
