Your donation is a critical part of Loudoun Habitat’s ability to provide decent, affordable homeownership opportunities where families can  grow and thrive. Donations are used responsibly to support programs, serve families and build safe homes and neighborhoods throughout Loudoun County. Join the efforts to build affordable houses by becoming a Loudoun Habitat partner in one of the following ways.

Matching Gifts

You may be able to increase your donation with your Employer Matching Programs helping your contribution to have an even bigger impact on affordable housing.

To see if your Employer matches your donation –  just follow the steps below.

  1. Confirm that your employer participates in a matching gift program  Check here
  2. Make your donation to Loudoun Habitat online or by mail. 
  3. Obtain and complete an Employee Matching Gifts Program form from your employer’s designated office or follow the online instructions they may provide.
  4. Once you notify your employer of your donation, they will contact us for donation verification. We will then complete the process and your employer will distribute the matching gift to Loudoun Habitat.

Please note that, depending upon the company, this process may take up to several months to complete.

Recurring Donations

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity makes it easier for you to donate by automatically processing your donation based on a selected payment schedule. Your pledge to donate provides support that Loudoun Habitat can count on. Please contact Kari Murphy to set-up a recurring donation.

Planned Giving

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity has suggested planned giving options that allow you to make a meaningful gift to support our mission and benefit your community after your lifetime.  Some of the most popular methods are:

Please consider this information a starting point.  The most effective planned gifts are made in coordination with an estate plan.

Vehicle Donations

Cars for Homes accepts most intact cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats on trailers, airplanes, construction vehicles, and recreational vehicles with proper title documentation.  The vehicle need not run, but it must be intact and have four inflated tires so it can be towed.  Please call 877-277-4344 for more information or click here

In-Kind Donations

In-kind gifts are vital in reducing our cost burden so we can benefit more partner families with dollars raised and saved.  Your company can partner with Loudoun Habitat by making a gift in-kind donation to help us build and renovate homes, through our events or to support our overall operations.

A few examples of items we currently need include skilled professionals in the areas of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work;  new construction materials; food, drink or auction donations for our special events; printing services and copy paper or other office supplies.
