What is a ReStore?
A ReStore is a resale business that sells new and gently used building materials and home improvement items to the general public and contractors. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers, and individuals, and are made available for sale to the public at 50% to 90% below retail prices. All proceeds from the store benefit Habitat for Humanity home building efforts in Loudoun County. So when you shop or donate at the store you help build a home for a local family.
As word of the ReStore is spreading, we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of donors in our community. Our 23,000 sq. ft. store is filled with hundreds of brand-new and almost-new appliances, tile, cabinets, windows, doors, and much, much more. The ReStore is a bargain-hunter's dream!
What we still NEED now:
- A 18'-24' box truck to pickup donated materials
- Volunteers to work in the ReStore and help their community a few hours a week or as much as they can.
- A good flex warehouse location in eastern Loudoun county for our next ReStore. We have been researching sites, but we are always open to suggestions.

Donate
Are you renovating your home? Are you a contractor renovating someone's home? Are you a builder or supplier with overstocked items? We will gladly accept gently-used materials for resale. Convenient pickup service is available for larger donations, and all donations are tax-deductible. Please visit our Donations page to determine whether you have usable or unusable items to donate or email restore@loudounhabitat.org for answers.
Volunteer
Are you able to volunteer your time to collect donations, run the cash register, or stock shelves? We need a steady supply of volunteers to make the ReStore the success we know it can be. Email volunteer@loudounhabitat.org to learn more about volunteering at our ReStore!
