The day each Habitat Homeowner receives the keys to their new home at a Home Dedication is a very special day. The dedication celebrates the completion of their house. The new homeowner, their family and friends, volunteers and donors gather to celebrate the hard work that has gotten them to this point. Volunteers often put together gift baskets, which they present to the family during the ceremony, and help the family settle comfortably into a brand new home.

Fill the pantry with non-perishable food items to start the family off right, or fill a laundry basket, hamper or garbage pail with household cleaning supplies, kitchen needs, first aid needs or lawn care needs! Habitat for Humanity will not proselytize. Nor will Habitat work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with Habitat. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith. Habitat welcomes volunteers and donors from all backgrounds and serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
