6th Annual Raise the Roof Auction & Gala
Loudoun Habitat for Humanity (LHFH) held its gala fundraising event to support ongoing efforts to build homes for those in need within the county on Saturday, March 4, 2017. This event was a combination auction, dinner, and dance held at Lansdowne Resort & Spa in Leesburg, VA. The festivities began at 6 p.m. with an open bar and the opportunity to bid on some exciting and fun auction items. Following the auction was a seated dinner, entertainment, and dancing.
This valuable fundraiser provides a critical source of funding for our building initiatives that help put deserving families in homes of their own,” stated Jim Wehr, president of the Loudoun Habitat Board of Directors. “We are grateful to all those businesses, churches and individuals who continue to support Loudoun Habitat,” further commented Wehr, “and encourage the community to come join us for a delightful and worthwhile evening.” The event featured a live band, dancing and an auction filled with surprises.
