Judy Singer, President & CEO

 
 

Judy Singer is a nonprofit and business operations executive with more than 25 years of experience leading strategic planning, fundraising, communications, and organizational management. She is recognized for her ability to drive meaningful impact, strengthen community partnerships, and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.  She currently serves as President & CEO of Loudoun Habitat for Humanity, where she works closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and community partners to expand access to affordable housing across Loudoun County. In this role, she oversees strategic direction, resource development, government relations, and program impact, while fostering collaboration with other nonprofits and civic organizations to broaden the reach of Habitat’s mission.

Previously, Judy served as Senior Director at Fellowship Square Foundation, where she helped double fundraising revenue, spearheaded a five-year strategic plan, and elevated the organization’s brand presence. Her career also includes senior leadership roles with the Association for Childhood Education International, World Affairs Council of Washington, International Student House of Washington, the Choral Arts Society of Washington, Meridian International Center, and the Komen National Race for the Cure. Across these organizations, she has consistently advanced fundraising growth, built innovative partnerships, and directed high-profile events and campaigns.

A Northern Virginian resident since early childhood, Judy brings a deep understanding of the region’s unique landscape and community needs, which informs her leadership and advocacy for affordable housing solutions.  In addition to her professional work, Judy contributes her expertise through community service.  She currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Cathy Hudgins Community Center in Reston, VA, and has previously served on the Board of the Reston Museum and the American Turkish Association of Washington, DC.

She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and completed graduate-level coursework in Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Special Education.  She also earned a Professional Fundraising Certification from Boston University.  In her free time, Judy enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping, as well as exploring her passion for interior design. She also treasures time with her daughter, who is currently attending college.
