Turner Family Dedication

Through her partnership with Loudoun Habitat for Humanity, La Tonya (Tonya) Turner is looking forward to the stability and permanency that owning her own home will provide.

For several years she and her daughters have shared a rental property with her mother. Tonya recognizes how fortunate this arrangement has been, but as she described before becoming a part of the Loudoun Habitat Homeownership Program, “It’s not something we own, it’s not permanent.”

Tonya is a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia with a large extended family living close by. One of her relatives attended a Loudoun Habitat home dedication that was taking place in her neighborhood and realized the program would be a perfect fit for Tonya. She encouraged Tonya to apply to fulfill her dream of finding something more permanent, her dream of homeownership.

Thank you for celebrating with us today as the Turner family opens the door to their permanent home in the same neighborhood where her aunt first learned about Loudoun Habitat.
